Chapter 81

Reminiscing the Past

Jasper and Yuliana found themselves strolling through the familiar streets of their old neighborhood. The sun cast a warm glow on the cobblestone paths as they walked hand in hand. Memories flooded their minds as they passed the park where they had spent countless afternoons playing and laughing together.

Yuliana stopped in front of a quaint café, her eyes sparkling with nostalgia. "Remember this place, Jasper?" she asked, a wistful smile on her lips. "We used to come here after school and share our dreams over cups of hot chocolate."

Jasper nodded, his heart brimming with fondness. "Yes, I remember," he replied, his voice filled with warmth. "We had so many dreams back then, didn't we? And look at us now, living some of them."

Yuliana leaned into him, resting her head on his shoulder. "It's incredible, isn't it? How life has brought us back here, together."

They continued their leisurely walk, passing the small bakery where they had first shared a stolen kiss. Yuliana couldn't help but blush as she recalled the rush of excitement that had coursed through her veins in that moment.

"Sometimes, I still can't believe how lucky I am," Jasper confessed, breaking the comfortable silence between them. "To have found you again, after all these years."

Yuliana squeezed his hand, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "I feel the same way, Jasper. It's like a dream come true, to have you by my side."

As they meandered through the streets, memories resurfaced, each one bringing a smile to their faces. They stopped at the bench where they had shared their deepest secrets, their hopes and fears.

"Do you remember the day we sat here, and I told you about my plan for revenge?" Yuliana asked softly, her gaze fixed on the distant horizon.

Jasper nodded, his expression serious. "Yes, I remember. It was a turning point for both of us. You were determined to find justice for your father, and I knew I had to support you, no matter what."

Yuliana sighed, her voice filled with a mixture of sadness and resolve. "I never imagined it would lead us down such a difficult path. But I'm grateful for your unwavering support, Jasper. You've been my rock through it all."

Jasper turned to face her, his eyes filled with love and admiration. "I would do anything for you, Yuliana. You are the love of my life, and I will always stand by your side."

They stood there, embracing each other tightly, their hearts beating in sync. The weight of their journey was still present, but in that moment, they found solace in the love they shared.

As they continued their walk, Yuliana couldn't help but feel a renewed sense of purpose. "Jasper," she began, her voice filled with determination, "I think it's time for us to leave the past behind and focus on building a future together."

Jasper smiled, his eyes sparkling with hope. "I couldn't agree more, Yuliana. Let's leave the shadows behind and step into the light."

Hand in hand, they walked towards their future, ready to face whatever challenges awaited them. Their love had withstood the tests of time, and now, they were ready to embrace the promise of tomorrow.
