Half-human
Action & Adventure, Adventure, Science Fiction
Chapter: 120
Waldo's father, Joseph, was a scientist who studied robots. Due to an illness in his childhood, Waldo was declared dead on the operating table at the hospital. However, his father couldn't accept this reality and took Waldo's body home. He had a daring idea to save his son's life, transforming him into a half-robot. Unlike regular humans, Waldo's blood is a gradient of blue and red, but his appearance remains the same as before. Joseph's wife died from complications during Waldo's birth, making Waldo his only kin. Before Joseph passed away, he created a robotic mother named Aneta to accompany Waldo. Aneta, unlike the robots available in the market, possesses her own emotional consciousness, something which human society does not allow.
The robot company discovered this secret and wanted to steal Aneta. Waldo, with Aneta, went into hiding, living incognito. However, one day when Waldo was outside, he got injured. People saw his unusual blood color, and his identity was revealed. He was captured by the authorities, and robotic mother Aneta emerged, searching everywhere for him. Their identities were exposed, and people began to resist robots, demanding their destruction. Waldo's existence initiated a dialogue with human society, attempting to address ethical, moral, and social issues.
